EASTER MESSAGE FROM THE

PEOPLE’S NATIONAL CONGRESS REFORM

 

On the occasion of the observance of the National Holiday to mark the Christian festival of Easter, the People’s National Congress Reform sends out Easter Greetings to all Guyanese and more especially to the Christian community.

 

It is our hope that the supreme sacrifice which Christ, the Son of God, made by his death on the Cross for all mankind, will stir our hearts and so, forever remind us of our duty to be our brothers/sisters keepers.

 

This message assumes even greater relevance for us Guyanese because of the ever-present danger, which we face mainly due to bad Governance.

 

At this Eastertide, therefore, we urge all Guyanese to reflect on the hope for mankind, which the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes.

 

As we fly our kites to symbolize the “Risen Christ, let us also resolve to rise above those things that continue to divide us and to unite in our common struggle for a better system of Governance in Guyana.

 

May Almighty God continue to bless us on our way.
